Obviously I didn't really keep up with the blog, mainly because
en route I didn't come across too many places with internet access and so the whole thing kind of lapsed a bit. I reached John O'Groats last Tuesday averaging about 100 miles a day in total. Despite the rather weird weather over the country during that week, I was actually quite lucky and with the exception of the odd shower, didn't have too much in the way of bad weather. It was bright and cold pretty much the whole time, and the cold tends to disappear if you keep on riding.
